About me and my practice
I am a BACP registered Counsellor, which means I have met their criteria for qualified and experienced therapists and work in accordance with the BACP ethical framework.
As a qualified counsellor, I will strive to help you with your difficulties. Since I am someone independent of your everyday life, I will not offer you advice. Instead, I will listen fully as you talk about your feelings and help you explore your feelings so you may better understand them and come up with your own solutions to your difficulties.
I take a person-centred approach where I aim to build a solid therapeutic relationship with you in which you feel heard, valued, and accepted. I do this by being open, understanding, and not passing judgement in a safe place for you.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
